David Hartshorn

David Robert Hartshorn was born June 24, 2000 in Rapid City, S.D., to Lucas and Amy Hartshorn.
David was an aspiring over the road truck driver, a cowboy, a firefighter and an aborist of Lutheran faith.
He passed away June 30, 2025 in Birmingham, Ala. He was 25.
David was preceded in death by Dora Crackel.
He is survived by his parents, Lucas and Amy Hartshorn; grandparents, Lyle and Donna Hartshorn and Roy and Darlene Stafford; brothers, Tony Crackel and Jacob Hartshorn; sister, Lena Hartshorn; aunts and uncles, Travis (Jennifer) Hartshorn, Tanya Hartshorn, Wendy and Jeff Reoh, Wynn Hartshorn, Renn (Tina) Hartshorn, Becky Stafford and Daniel Stafford; and niece, Reagan Wren Crackel.
A celebration of life for David will be held July 27 at 2 p.m. at Harvest Acres Venues at 8700 S. Hwy. 16, Rapid City.
