Faye Bebo

Faye M. Bebo passed away June 12, 2026, at Monument Health  Hospital in Custer, S.D.
Faye was born Feb. 6, 1940, to Lester and Theresa Chandler near Aberdeen, S.D. She spent her youth on a farm in Brown County, S.D. 
On Sept. 26, 1958, she married Ronald Bebo in Pierre, S.D, and together they headed to California to find work.
Faye worked as an executive secretary for Rockwell, a subsidiary of Boeing Aircraft, until her retirement. She and Ronald later lived in Arizona for several years before settling in Custer, where they enjoyed the remainder of their retirement.
Faye is survived by her husband, Ronald, of 67 years; sisters, Donna Blackcloud of Bismarck, N.D., and Betty (Eugene) Heier of Aberdeen; brother‑in‑law. Richard Bebo of Canby, Ore.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley Berreth; brother‑in‑law Ivan Blackcloud; brothers‑in‑law, Robert Bebo and Gary (Shirley) Bebo; and sisters‑in‑law, Joyce (Maymard) Fortin and Darla Bebo.
Per Faye’s request, no funeral services are planned. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Aberdeen.
Arrangements have been made with Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Custer.
