Laura Muckler

Laura Muckler, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully July 2, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Hospital Saint Mary’s Campus in Rochester, Minn. She was 62 years old.
Born in Hot Springs, S.D., April 7, 1963, Laura grew up in Fairburn (S.D.) and went to school in Custer (S.D.)
Laura met her husband and love of her life, Jerry, in Custer. They shared 43 beautiful years together. 
Laura’s greatest joy was her family. In 1986 they welcomed their first child Lisa, followed by Randy in 1988. She was the manager and backbone of Pizza Hut for over 30 years. Her passions included gardening, exercising at the YMCA and spending time with friends and family.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014 and survived. Her bravery and strength through it all was astonishing.  
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Jerry; her children Lisa (Jeremiah, Aiden, and Moira) and Randy (Kaylee and Henry); her siblings, Donna, Lucy and Vance; and a multitude of friends who will deeply miss her presence.
May she rest in eternal peace.
