Lori Thorson joins Prevailer staff

Lori Thorson is the newest marketing coordinator for Southern Hills Holdings, LLC, dba Southern Hills Publishing . Thorson will be the go-to for advertising sales in the Hill City and Keystone market, as well as other areas around the Black Hills.

Thorson is originally from Swea City, a small town located in north-central Iowa.

It was in the communities of Swea City and neighboring town, Bancroft, that she raised her two sons. She says both her sons have incredible wives and they have given her six beautiful grandchildren. 

Thorson has been a portrait photographer for over 30 years, which is where she got her marketing experience. Her other career adventures include driving school bus for 23 years, receptionist at two car dealerships, working in the restaurant field and most recently managing a local storage business.

Thorson moved to the Black Hills area in 2019 and currently resides in the Custer area with her dog, Chico.
