Rebecca McCann

Beckie was born to Joseph and Verda Lollman Aug. 6, 1949, in LaPorte, Ind.  She married Gene McCann in LaPorte June 21, 1969.  They traveled throughout Europe and the United States for 12 years. 
Beckie became a Registered Nurse in 1981 and worked at LaPorte Hospital, retiring in 2008.  In 2010 they sold their home and belongings and RV’ed all over the 48 states for eight years.
They bought property in South Dakota in 2013, then built a house in 2018.  She enjoyed living in the Custer Highlands until her death Oct. 5. 
She has two children, Steven McCann and Heather (Shawn) Farless; three grandsons, Austin McCann, Troy (Bryana) Farless and Trent (Ruby) Farless.
Her parents and seven siblings preceded her in death.
No services or visitation will take place.
Interment is in Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, S.D.
Beckie will be missed by Murphy, her protector and her family.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Custer, S.D.
