The Custer High School boys team broke out the driver on its season Monday at Boulder Canyon Country Club for the Sturgis Invitational, where the team finished in third place.
Pacing the Wildcats was Regan Sorenson, who finished with a score of 81, good for seventh place overall.
Other Wildcats in the top 20 included Curtis Sorenson, who fired a round of 88, Brady Virtue, who finished at 90, and Mason Dirkes, who also shot 90. Rounding out the Wildcats in the tournament were Brodie VanDerBoom and Dillon Hanis, who both shot 97.
